Canada tours in July 2024

All together now, "O Canada..."

July is Canada's birthday month, and every year on July 1st, Canada Day is celebrated with fireworks, festivities, and food. While we're always up for a good party (the more poutine and other local delicacies, the better), we think the best way to observe the holiday all month long is to explore some of the country's most iconic landscapes. See the real Canada on an active adventure that takes you into the Canadian Rockies, or soak up the sun on a walking tour along the Sunshine Coast. Whether you've decided to explore in the East or the West this July, show some appreciation for this beautiful country and its breathtaking scenery.

Great landscapes, camping under the pine trees, fun diligent local leader giving the best advice, fun group…. An excellent trip all together

Canadian Rockies

This trip is a must do! We hit the jackpot with our guide Raph! He knew the best view points, the best lakes to swim in, the best cafes and restaurants, campsite tips, places to spot wildlife and was fantastic at making sure we all got to experience the activities at a level we felt comfortable with. Hiking, kayaking, white water rafting , cycling , lake swims , wildlife spotting … you name it we did it !

Hiking in the Canadian Rockies

Lisa · Traveled July 2023
Hiking the Canadian Rockies with Intrepid was a fabulous experience . Ariane and Julie took care of all of the driving and camping logistics so I could just grab my day pack and enjoy the magnificent mountains. It was fun to camp and get to know other like minded travelers.

Newfoundland Adventure: Eastbound

Colette · Traveled July 2023
Intrepid says they always hire local guides. It is what they are known for. They did not have a local guide on this trip. Buyer beware. I am so, so disappointed.
