Travellers from most nationalities will need a visa to enter Sri Lanka. You must also apply for an electronic travel authorisation (ETA) on Sri Lanka’s ETA application page. There will be an online fee, depending on your nationality. This fee may increase if you decide to apply for the ETA when you arrive. It will be valid for 30 days after arriving in Sri Lanka but can be extended.
