West Coast Adventure (Northbound)

Explore the coastal scenery and diverse marine wildlife along Australia’s west coast

UNESCO World Heritage areas, remote bays, coral reefs, desert landscapes, a bright-pink lake and a beach made entirely of seashells – this west coast adventure showcases Australia’s scenic beauty over eight beautiful days. Starting in Perth, you’ll wander the strange landscape of the Pinnacles Desert, visit the pink Hutt Lagoon and settle into Kalbarri National Park, surrounded by local wildlife. Explore the diverse scenery of the park, canoe along Murchison River, then sit down to a special dining experience during sunset. Visit Shark Bay and Shell Beach and look out for rays, turtles and dolphins before soaking up some free time to get active. Search for turtles on a glass-bottom boat, explore Cape Range National Park and go snorkelling in Ningaloo Reef. Why you'll love this trip

  • Soak up the natural beauty of Ningaloo Reef – a UNESCO World Heritage site. Hike up to Yardi Gorge’s rim, take a glass-bottom boat tour to spot turtles in Coral Bay and maybe walk the shores of Oyster Bay and Turquoise Bay.
  • Visit Shell Beach – one of only two beaches in the world made entirely from seashells – during your time in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area. Then, spend your free time exploring the bay however you like. Maybe go kayaking, snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding or 4WDing.
  • Be treated to the Murchison Glow Dinner Experience in Kalbarri National Park. Here, you’ll learn about the local area before gliding along Murchison River in a canoe and sitting down to a four-course dinner of regional dishes as the sun sets.
  • Walk through the otherworldly landscape of the Pinnacles Desert – this national reserve is peppered with strange natural limestone structures that date back around 30,000 years!
  • See the vibrant pink and lilac hues of Hutt Lagoon – the extra-high salinity in the lake causes the bright shades of colour.
