Why you'll love this trip
  • Temple-hop around the renowned Angkor complex – one of Southeast Asia's most stunning attractions. Enjoy a full day of exploring on a local Tuk-tuk with a driver from a company dedicated to women’s employment.
  • Kick back at a local homestay in Chambok that puts you right in the heart of everyday village life in Cambodia. Enjoy a delicious dinner cooked by the locals and be treated to a traditional dance performance.
  • Uncover another side of southern coastal Cambodia with two nights in the riverside hub of Kampot. You’ll have plenty of free time to get to know why this town is on the up-and-coming list.
  • Confront the sobering but important Khmer history in Phnom Penh, with included visits to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek.
  • Top and tail your Cambodian adventure with time spent in two of Southeast Asia’s bustling hubs – Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. Haven’t been there before? Why not extend your stay?
  • By travelling on this trip, you’ll directly support our Intrepid Foundation partner, CRST. Donations help them break the cycle of poverty in Cambodia by inspiring and empowering children with education opportunities.

This trip packs a lot into a short time and gives a great insight into Cambodian life. I had some amazing experiences that I probably wouldn't have had if I was travelling alone. Also a big shout out to our guide Vanny - his knowledge and organisation is brilliant, and he kept us all smiling!

These trips are an outstanding way to experience places you may not have seen before because of the local knowledge and experience of the fabulous guide. Vanny Noun, our Guide in Cambodia was just outstanding and there is nothing more to add. As a representative of Intrepid in South East Asia, you could get no better. Well done Intrepid in managing to recruit him.

Our trip through Cambodia was amazing! The itinerary was perfect, spending 2 nights in each hotel was the perfect amount of time to visit the town we were in. We didn't see too much of one thing (ie: it wasn't just one temple after another), and we got a real appreciation for the local culture and people. The accommodations were nice and the homestay was a real treat. Our trip leader, Vanny, was so much fun! We will definitely travel with Intrepid again!

This was my second Intrepid trip and didn't disappoint. We were promised a Cambodia Adventure, and that's exactly what we got. We got immersed in the local culture and history of what is an emerging tourist destination. We saw the sun rise at a wonder of the world, Ankor Wat and chilled out on tropical beaches. We confronted a past that should never be forgotten. This trip is something special, truly Intrepid.

An amazing introduction to Cambodia's history with a great balance of both local City life and rural living. I can't wait to go back!
