On the whole a great tour, let down by an unenthusiastic and deeply unorganised guide. Have been on a lot of Intrepid tours and not what I would have expected at all. Mexico itself is great and if you do all the optional activities you can fit a lot in. 9 hour bus ride was hell due to the wrong size bus being send with broken air conditioning

Amazing locations which provided a great taste of all parts of mexico. However, it was unfortunately soured by low quality transportation (which comprised a lot of the trip). Was also disappointing that me and my male partner were booked in twin beds without getting the opportunity to specify at the time of booking the tour.

This trip was very comprehensive and the guide was amazing. However the trip is exhausting and the van was less than comfortable with air con that did not hold up. Also as a gay couple we were booked into twin rooms on an assumption we were not a couple which is not acceptable. For a comfort trip, the hotels were nice but the transport needs to measure up and be improved to be a true comfort trip.
