Ljubljana to Split Real Food Adventure

This tour was an incredible way to immerse myself in local culture, connect with community members, and sample a variety of delicious cuisines. I had the chance to participate in unique experiences that I never would have discovered on my own, such as truffle hunting, visiting local wineries, and enjoying homemade delicacies in the homes of local residents. It’s also an excellent introduction to the beauty and charm of Slovenia and Croatia. One thing to note: our tour had only three travelers. Of course this might vary depending on the season but something to consider if the group travel aspect is a priority.

Italy Real Food Adventure

The tour was a bit of a disappointment. The accommodation is 1-2 stars. They say some are 3 stars but it’s definitely not! Tuscany was the highlight. Accommodation is all on the outskirts of the towns and cities. 20 min walk into town each time. Did not feel very safe leaving hotel at night sometimes. 90% public transport. Guide was great!

Greece Real Food Adventure

Brilliant trip for foodies ! Greece was a stunningly beautiful country to explore. We travelled in peak season, however in the usual Intrepid style we visited places off the beaten path so we felt like we had most of it to ourselves. Of the 13 trips we have done with Intrepid so far this is up there as one of the best ❤️

This was my ninth I tepid tour and my favourite so far!! I felt so relaxed the whole time, while exploring our way through Greek culture and experiences, soaking up sunshine, eating my way through Greek cuisine and enjoying the company of the group - as a solo traveller this contributed enormously to my overall enjoyment! Would rate 11/10!
