Our average group size of 10 (usually 3 to 5 like-minded families) means we can use local transport, eat at family-run restaurants, and stay in traditional guesthouses and homestays. All relations are welcome – as long as you’re with a child aged between 5 and 17, you’re a family in our eyes.
Middle East family holidays
Probably the coolest history lesson they’ll ever take
The Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley of the Kings. The tombs and temples of Petra. The ancient cave homes of Cappadocia. Seeing these places in the flesh will have budding history buffs (and let’s be honest, you too) living out their dreams. But history is just the start on these family adventures. Feel the strange sensation of floating in the salty Dead Sea, spot shooting stars at a desert camp in Wadi Rum or watch life play out on the banks of the Nile aboard a traditional felucca. And don't worry about sleeper trains, language barriers and local customs – you and the kids will take it all in stride with a local leader to show you the way.

Why choose us
One of the hardest parts of family travel is keeping everyone happy, which is why our trips have loads of fun, educational activities for all ages. We keep travel time to a minimum, use hotels with pools where we can and include plenty of downtime so you and the kids can do your own thing. Your leader can also suggest activities based on your kids' hobbies or curriculum.
Our leaders are specially trained to run family adventures and they get along great with the kids. You can also relax knowing we use trusted local operators and run safety assessments on all our activities and transport to make sure they meet our strict safety policy. You'll all be well taken care of.
Making a difference has been part of our journey from day one. Through our non-profit, The Intrepid Foundation, we support organisations driving change around the world. And as a certified B Corp, we’re committed to doing good through the joy of travel.
