Classic Borneo

I recently took the 10 Day Borneo Comfort Wildlife tour with Intrepid. It was a fantastic adventure! We saw all types of Bornean wildlife including monkeys, birds, a Pygmy elephant and, of course, Orangutans. Our guide Edwin, was professional, knowledgeable and made every aspect of our adventure enjoyable. He took care of all the arrangements which made for a stress free trip. Our "Happy Hour" on the jetty at Manukan Island with wine, live music and a beautiful sunset was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend Intrepid as a tour group. Loved that we only had 12 people.

An incredible adventure which starts with a tricky but rewarding hike up Mt Kinabalu and then becomes a wildlife adventure. Perfect for those who want an escape from city life! Loved every minute, one of my fave Intrepid trips ever.

Premium Borneo in Depth

Elyse · Traveled August 2023
This tour is a fantastic highlights trip of some of Borneo’s natural wonders. The trip starts with walks in the jungle of Batang Ai and finishes with relaxing boat cruises. The trip is perfect for nature lovers and has an excellent variety of food to enjoy. Our leader Nostalia was amazing and made travelling a breeze. If you don’t like boats or walking in the jungle this trip may not be for you, but it is an incredible experience that everyone should try.
