This itinerary is brilliant, starting from the busiest place to gradually improve until ending in paradise (beach). It's not all about the food, the inclusions are fantastic – must do’s. Each stop/city is better than the previous: Great to get a sense of India from different perspectives. Ideal for beginners in the country.

An expansive introduction to Indian cuisine that could do with more cooking activities than cooking demonstrations. The tour hits all the sites of note and the overnight train, a primary reason for booking this itinerary, is an experience I shall not readily forget.

The Dehli to Goa trip for us was a perfect taster of what India has to offer. it was always sold as a basic trip so sometimes the rooms were more ‘rustic’ but they were always secure and we never found them unusable. Occasionally they exceeded expectation too. The public transport whilst busy and noisy was all part of the experience . The night trains too were an experience you won’t forget ,we won’t miss them but certainly glad we did them. (Take spare loo paper and a sense of humour) our guide Dinesh looked after us well and took the stress out of the logistics leaving us to enjoy the sights , sounds and smells of 1.5 billion people all doing their own thing to get by apparently oblivious to everyone else. Sometimes it was tiring , sometimes a little frustrating but never boring and certainly not forgettable. We would definitely recommend it.
