Why you'll love this trip
  • Beginning and ending in Kathmandu, there's ample time to discover the capital's staggeringly rich cultural and artistic heritage.
  • Soak up wild surroundings during a two-night Feature Stay in a first-class jungle oasis on the banks of the Rapti River, opposite Chitwan National Park.
  • Get an intimate look at Nepali culture and cuisine during an unforgettable Exclusive Experience; a cooking class with the Seven Women, a social enterprise helping disadvantaged women in Nepal.
  • Pay a visit to a Tibetan community during an Exclusive Experience where you’ll learn about local life, enjoy a traditional cooking demonstration and sit down together for lunch.
  • Marvel at the panoramic views of Himalayan peaks from Sarangkot Viewpoint and admire the Annapurna Range and Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhare).
  • By travelling on this trip, you’ll directly support our Intrepid Foundation partner, Seven Women. Donations help them empower marginalised women in Nepal by providing cooking lessons, skills training and educational classes.

Is this trip right for you?
  • The drive from Pokhara to Chitwan is on very windy roads as you climb up and down mountains, be prepared for a lot of corners and don't forget to buckle up.
  • A moderate fitness level is required for the hike in Pokhara and walks in Chitwan National Park. This trip does not go to high altitude, so acclimatising will be relatively easy.

This is a great, jam-packed itinerary to see a lot of the best bits of Nepal. The trip is well-organised and has pretty much everything included- every day is filled with new activities. Our tour guide, Nabin, was fantastic- really knowledgeable, friendly and fun. I would highly recommend this trip.

This trip was everything I had hoped for and more. There’s a great range of activities, the mountains are stunning and the people lovely. Satya, our guide, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we were lucky to have him.

This was our first group tour and we had a great time. Intrepid provided lots of information and our guide, excursions, accommodation and meals were excellent. Kathmandu is organised chaos and it was both exhilarating and a bit daunting but we always felt safe.

As a tour first timer who is usually an independent traveller, I wasn't sure if I'd like the group dynamic or my days being organised for me, but was hugely pleased to find that Premium Nepal was more than I could have hoped for. Will definitely do Intrepid again.

A great trip to a beautiful country, hotels are of a high standard, a good varied itinerary for those who want more than hiking. Thanks to Satya who led our group, a knowledgeable, kind trip leader
