Great trip & very interesting. Yes the roads were awful but just added to the adventure. Accommodation & food was was good, lots of choices. The leader & driver could not be faulted, helpful & good fun. Overall an enjoyable trip. Suggest if booking this trip plan some extra days in Capetown as so much to see & do.

An excellent trip! Lots of wildlife and stunning scenery! I never expected the seals in Walvis Bay to nuzzle my hand in the water and clamber onto the kayak!

Cape Town to Kenya

The tour description is clear this is not a 5 star luxury tour but if you want to experience the countries first hand, learn about the people, politics, history and see some spectacular wildlife then you cannot go wrong. The tour team were exceptional in their organisation and knowledge

Cape Town to Vic Falls

The tour itself takes one through incredible landscapes where you get to experience bush camps and get close to local wildlife. There are some long travel days and early morning risers but that comes with the territory when over-landing through Southern Africa. If Intrepid can figure out a way to do less border crossings between Botswana and Namibia, as we went back and forth twice, I would’ve loved more time in Botswana. Overall a good itinerary; I met some wonderful fellow travellers and local crew that made the trip very memorable.
