  • Discover the remains of a once thriving Mayan city at the Lamanai archaeological site, reached by a boat trip that reveals some of Belize’s most colourful birdlife.
  • Go wildlife watching in the Crooked Tree Sanctuary, keeping an eye out for the Jabiru storks – the tallest flying bird in Central and South America.
  • Uncover the secrets of crystallised skeletons and crumbling palaces near San Ignacio that have been preserved in their natural glory.

Is this trip right for you?
  • Is it hot in here? Well, you’re in tropical Central America so it can get really hot and humid. Carry plenty of water because hydration is key, especially when you’re walking a lot.

Had a great time in Belize. I did the ATM cave, there's probably nothing else like iit in the world-- feet and legs got banged up, but would still do it again. We went to Tikal, Guatemala and it was amazing how much of the ruins was still around today. Lastly, we went snorkeling at the Hol Chan Marine Preserve-- according to the others in my group, they saw more there than anywhere else including the Great Barrier Reef. Tip-Bring a rash guard

Belize is a small but very diverse and culturally rich country. Land of Belize gives an amazing overview of the history, culture, and people of Belize. The food is great! Our guide, Jonathan, was amazing and made the experience very smooth. I did the ATM Cave tour in San Ignacio and loved it(highly recommend)-this is an adventure cave tour and you need reasonable level of fitness, you will be climbing, swimming/walking through water and need water shoes with good soles.

Jungle adventures, cave explorations, lots of history, an impromptu trip to Guatemala, and topped it off with a swimming with sharks and manatees. It was unreal, had a blast. Our guide Walter was so knowledgeable and ensured everyone was doing well. Will keep recommending this trip for years to come.

Land of Belize was an excellent trip! This is a great combination of adventure, history, and relaxation. You explore the mainland and end the trip on the islands. The ATM Cave tour and snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef are wonderful and were definitely attractions for me. The people of Belize are friendly and welcoming. The group leader was knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend.
