Ultimate Antarctic Circle Crossing (Ocean Albatros)

Journey further south than most adventurers ever do on an Antarctic expedition
Where you’ll stay
Why you'll love this trip
- Set sail for the less-travelled Antarctic Circle and Lemaire Channel, journeying to 66°33'S, where few have gone before.
- Venture to the Antarctic Peninsula and explore the bays, inlets and islands that make up this unspoiled wilderness. Enjoy daily Zodiac excursions through waterways flanked by glaciers, plus onshore landings including potential visits to scientific research bases and historical sites.
- Encounter the diverse wildlife of the South Shetland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula. Watch penguins and seals go about their daily lives, see whales breaching on the horizon and gaze up at rare seabirds, like the wandering albatross, soaring overhead.
- Contribute to the Citizen Science program – help collect data and play a part in vital research into Antarctic ecosystems and how they’re impacted by climate change. Deepen your knowledge of Antarctica’s history and ecology through a program of educational talks.
- Spend extended time in the southernmost part of the world, with more opportunities for expeditions. With an expert Expedition Team by your side, you’ll become a true polar adventurer!
