Bungle Bungles tours & holidays
Not your average 350-million-year-old cone karsts
If you’re only just finding out about the bee-coloured domes of Western Australia, then you may not be alone. While known to local Aboriginal people for over 20,000 years, the eroded sandstone towers of the Bungle Bungles only became famous in the early 1980s. Since then, it’s become a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site for its natural beauty and geological interests. Join a local leader for a trip through the tight squeezes and acoustic marvels of Echidna Chasm and Cathedral Gorge, and if that’s not enough, maybe even see it all from above.

Meander through Echidna Chasm
The Bungle Bungles range is full of extraordinary sights and Echidna Chasm might just top the list. Follow your leader as you navigate your way through the smallest of spaces with towering 200-metre-high, beautifully coloured gorge walls on either side of you. You can also get up close and personal with prehistoric Livistonia Palms during your walk.
Sing your heart out at Cathedral Gorge
A sight that offers great visuals and great vocals, Cathedral Gorge invites visitors into the heart of the Bungle Bungles. Its natural amphitheatre design and curved walls create amazing acoustics that have seen a few live performances. Visitors in the wet season may also get the chance to see the waterfall that flows through the overhang.
