Samoa does not require a visa for visitors who visit solely for tourism or recreation. However, all travellers aged 12 and over must pay a departure tax.

To enter Samoa, you may need:

  • A passport valid for a minimum of six months after the date of entry into Samoa and a blank page for your visitor permit stamp
  • A confirmed onward travel ticket
  • A passport, permit or visa for the country you will travel to after Samoa
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the intended period of stay
  • A confirmed residential contact address
  • To comply with Samoa's COVID-19 measures
