Bosnia and Herzegovina is a special place unlike any other I've been to. The scenery is beautiful, the history and politics mind-bending, and the people a delight - and the tour made all three infinitely more accessible. It wasn't without its challenges (eg, long hot days, changing accommodation every night except one) but we were lucky to have a good group and a knowledgeable and fun leader. If you're up for a genuine adventure, you won't regret doing this trip!

The biggest advantage of this trip was the variety of activities, making each day feel unique. There was a wild horse safari, swimming in waterfalls, Tito's bunker, hiking, and more. I truly recommend this in-depth tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I implore you to consider Bosnia & Herzegovina it is a destination of such diversity in food, culture, history and wilderness. One of the highlights of this trip included a traditional Bosnian dinner with a delightful couple who were generous with their time, food and experiences - a great ice breaker on your first night together as a group. However, finding wild horses in the mountains and getting to see them interacting with each other was super special. I learnt so much about the history of Bosnia & Herzegovina and the wider political landscape that contributed to where it is today. Hearing first hand accounts of the recent war was a humbling and unique experience. Our guide Ivan was fabulous he made everything seamless and did so with such humour. This trip is full of stunning landscapes, history, tasty delights and incredibly strong coffee. I have recommended it to any one that asks how my trip to Bosnia & Herzegovina was.
