Experience a unique meeting with one of Palawan's great indigenous groups, the Batak tribe. Interact with the locals of the village and witness daily life as it is today
This trip includes a sightseeing tour of the Philippine capital of Manila, giving you a taste of what it has to offer. You'll even whizz around the streets in an authentic jeepney
The Island of Palawan is less developed than other South East Asian countries, so you might experience delays when ordering food at local restaurants and major festival periods can cause a hold-up in travel journeys. Despite the possibilities of delays, the laid back nature of this destination is well worth the wait.

This tour was the best introduction to the Philippines. The beaches were incredible, the waters were crystal clear and Bryan was a perfect tour leader. I would have loved a few more days of the trip to explore El Nido and maybe Coron more – but I will definitely go back!

This is a great trip but does require a good level of fitness. The treks through the rice terraces can be arduous and taxing for those who do not regularly hike or walk long distances. Note that at times there are large climbs on the treks. The Palawan section of the trip felt rushed. I felt I spent more time in a van than on a beach or island hopping. I feel the long drive back from El Nido to Puerto Princess is unnecessary given that we could have had an extra day and perhaps flown to Manila from El Nido. These are small gripes however, as overall the trip was fantastic.
