Gorillas & Game Parks

We went in mid March and luckily missed the rains. If you accept that the need for long journeys and early starts will get you so many amazing experiences and destinations in one trip, this trip is absolutely right for you. I have no hesitation recommending this gorillas and game park trip. The pygmy village is a worthwhile addon, as are the chimps! Maasai mara and nakuru game drives were spectacular. So much wildlife everywhere you looked.

Gorillas & Game Parks

Absolutely phenomenal trip if you love getting up close and personal with the people, animals, and land! Not luxury by any means but if you love camping, wildlife, and the great outdoors, this trip will knock your socks off! Absolutely bucket list trip I will never forget. Can’t say enough good things about our leader Clara - a strong, independent woman in a mostly male-dominated country. We were very taken care of with her assertiveness and strong leadership skills. We always knew safety was priority #1. I wouldn’t do this type of trip any other way but with a responsible organization… things would have been more risky without them. Great food, relatively healthy, with plenty to spare. Tents were brand new with decent foam mats. Yes, long travel days but SO much to see along the way. Just play games, download books, podcasts, movies etc and you’ll be fine. And the GORILLAS!! Amazing!!!
