Mongolia Tours & Holidays

Landing in the concrete jungle of Ulaanbaatar, you might wonder where Mongolia keeps its famous wide-open spaces.

But just wait until you catch your first glimpse of sunrise over the famous Mongolian steppe. There’s no other view on Earth quite like it: mile after mile of rolling grassy plains, dotted with the white domes of gers and broken up with golden dunes or the craggy peaks of Tavan Bogd and the Altai mountains. It’s probably no surprise that our Mongolia tours are mostly about the getting out into the wild – soaking in the hot springs of Tsenkher or hiking through the Khogno Khan – but you’ll find there’s more to this country than just good views. With its epic history, brief communist past and a (proudly) democratic future, Mongolia is ready to greet the 21st century with plenty to offer the traveller.

An excellent insight into nomadic life on the steppe with two homestays and a fairly comprehensive tour of Central Mongolia.

Mongolia was a completely unique experience. From the food to the lifestyle it was different. The people in particular are the most welcoming I've ever met. The family ger camp was shocking in how welcoming they were. Only down side was those roads and long drives.

What a wonderful trip, Recommend to anyone who has a spirit of adventure. Our guide was knowledgeable, the driver great, local accommodation wonderful , food varied and good, the Mongolian people so so friendly. I learnt so much about the history of the country. The roads were a challenge, but our driver managed superbly.

Wild Mongolia sure stood up to its name. A truly amazing experience second to none. Long days on the road, however you will be rewarded with breath taking scenery and meeting some truly amazing people. If your looking to get off the beaten track and experience a country relatively untouched then Wild Mongolia is for you!
