Drift along pure spring-fed rivers past sparkling waterfalls, and then get the heart rushing riding the rapids of Zrmanja River by canoe or raft
Sea kayak out on the silken blue waters of the Adriatic, dramatic mountains the backdrop while following the coast to the delightful fishing hamlet of Vinjerac

This is an active trip packed with activities such as cycling, white-water rafting, kayaking and trekking. To fully enjoy it, you'll need to be in a good state of health and fitness. To participate in the water-based experiences, you'll need to be a confident swimmer.
The trip involves some early starts and long days, because the itinerary is packed with lots of exciting activities.
Starigrad Paklenica, the base for this trip, is located approximately 150 kilometres north-west of Split Airport, and 50 kilometres north of Zadar Airport. A group arrival transfer from Split Airport in the afternoon of Day 1 is included. Please advise your booking agent of your flight details if you would like to book this service. Alternatively, a private transfer from Split Airport or Zadar Airport can be booked at an additional cost should your flights not coincide with the group transfer. Also, a departure transfer can be booked at an additional cost.

ITINERARY CHANGES IN 2018
In 2018 this trip will start with a night in Zadar, before moving on to the trip's base in Starigrad in the afternoon of day 2. The activities will stay the same, however the previous inclusion of Plitvice Lakes will be optional in 2018. Additionally, the trip's name will change to 'Croatia: Hike, Bike & Kayak'.

A group arrival transfer is included in the price of the trip. This transfer will be on day 1, departing from Split Airport at 4pm. Please advise your travel agent of your flight arrival details at the time of booking. Alternatively, a private transfer can be booked for any time of the day at an extra cost. If no transfer has been booked, please make your own way to the apartments for the welcome meeting at 6pm on day 1. For after the trip, a departure transfer can be booked at an additional cost.

Overall my expectations were exceeded as this is my first ever organised tour of travelling in a group. Everything had been thought about as far as making the trip run smoothly and also despite weather changes, the tour was still flexible without missing out on any activities which were easily rescheduled. I don't think a downday is required on the active tours as you expect to be quite active anyway.
