Iceland’s tourism board just released a video series, and it’s awesome

With its milky lagoons, end-of-the-earth scenery and magical music scene (never stop, Sigur Ros), Iceland’s already won our hearts. How could you not love a country that heats over 85% of its houses with geothermal energy?

Well, now their tourism board has gone and released ‘Iceland Academy’ a series of short videos about Icelandic etiquette – and our crush has reached glacial proportions. Covering important topics such as responsible travel and how to prepare for a communal hot tub, the videos have that offbeat aesthetic and sense of humour that is so quintessentially Nordic. Designed as a series of ‘classes’, each video is followed by a quick set of questions. Answer the questions right, get a badge. Get all the badges, and you could win a trip to Iceland.
