Plan for a positive future

plan affrica appealIntrepid has always been impressed with Plan’s incredible projects around the globe and we were honoured to hear from Ian Wishart, CEO, Plan International – Australia National Office, on the 10th anniversary of The Intrepid Foundation

“The Intrepid Foundation has been a strong and wonderful supporter of Plan’s work for over 10 years. As an international development agency with a focus on children’s rights, Plan looks to execute long-term, sustainable development work in over 50 countries. It is here that The Intrepid Foundation has had a tremendous impact.

It has made a positive impact on thousands of children through supporting our development work. From helping children access early education in India, ensuring girls are aware of their rights and are protected from early marriage in Indonesia, to ensuring vulnerable children in Uganda are looked after if a family member or they have HIV or AIDS.

The Intrepid Foundation has also kindly responded and connected with travellers during times of disaster, from the South East Asia Tsunami in 2004 to more recently with the drought in East Africa. This support has enabled Plan to act in a time when funds are quickly needed to ensure children survive and are protected.

Congratulations Intrepid Foundation on your milestone of helping a range of causes for over 10 years. We thank you for your support of our work and we look forward to working with you in the many years to come.”
