help us reach our target

intrepid east africa drought appealThe Intrepid Foundation has now raised over AU$15,000 for Plan International’s East Africa Drought Appeal. Can you help us make it to AU$20,000?

You’ll be surprised what a difference your donation will make:
$20 will give a clean water kit – soap, bucket and water purification tablets for a family of 5 for a month.
$40 will provide clean water for 175 people for a day.
$75 will feed a family of 6 for two weeks.
$150 will provide high calorie food for 300 children suffering from severe malnutrition.
$280 will pay for a health kit for a clinic to support 150 people for three months.

Plan is providing relief to thousands of children and families in East Africa, where severe drought has put millions of people at risk of starvation. Please make a donation to The Intrepid Foundation now and double your impact!*

The situation is incredibly challenging, but Plan are succeeding. They are helping 363,974 people in Kenya – providing supplementary feeding at schools, water trucking and storage, therapeutic feeding programs, hygiene promotion, as well as child protection. In Ethiopia, Plan is reaching more than 181,000 of the most vulnerable – providing emergency food supplies especially for young children and mothers, hygiene promotion, water supplies and child protection.

Plan is reaching more than 112,000 people in South Sudan – assisting in school feeding, food assistance for the returnees, hygiene promotion and provision of agricultural supplies to help families break the cycle of hunger. Donate today and you will be helping thousands of children survive during this crisis.

*Intrepid Travel will match your donation up to AU$20,000 and a maximum of AU$5,000 per individual donor.

*Note: When Australians donate before 25 November your support will effectively be tripled, as your donation will also be matched by AusAID.
