Located on the southwestern coast of the African continent, Namibia is a great introduction to this fascinating part of the world.

The people, the culture, the landscapes, the animals and the general experience of it all were responsible for making this one of the most magical trips of my life.

Fancy taking a walk on the wild side? An African safari offers up the ideal opportunity to get closer to those animals which fascinate us most.

“There’s a leopard up ahead,” said our safari guide, with no fanfare at all. He quickly maneuvered the truck off the road and tried to get closer.

“I’m travelling on an 8-day adventure through Kenya and Tanzania’s incredible national parks, landscapes and villages. It’s my first visit to Africa, but I know it won’t be my last.”

My responsibilities were limited to packing up my gear in the morning, returning from bathroom breaks on time, and choosing what bottle of Pinotage to get for dinner at camp.
