Spring, is that you?
Spring has well and truly sprung by May, with thawing snow and eye-poppin' wildflowers dotting the landscape. There might still be a chill in the air and the weather may be undecided some days, but outdoor adventures are back on. We can't think of a better place to embrace the pollen-scented goodness of spring than the Canadian Rockies: tackle Whistler's oh-so-scenic trails, spot coyotes and mountain lions in Jasper, and explore ancient glaciers in Banff National Park. Or, discover the lesser-known (but totally gorgeous) Sunshine Coast or the dramatic seascapes of Newfoundland. With steamy hot springs, mountaintop restaurants and cosy lodges to relax after a big day, Canada doesn't get much better than this.
