Your Western Australian adventure begins with a single step
Leave your maps at home and switch your GPS off ā itās time to experienceĀ Western Australia the Intrepid way. Whether you want to embark on a self-reflecting journey along one ofĀ Australiaās most iconic walks (the Cape-to-Cape track) or explore national parks full of diverse geological features, ourĀ Western Australia walking tripsĀ promise plenty of thrilling adventures and unforgettable memories youāll look back on for years to come.
While it might not be as well-known as theĀ Kimberleys, Karijini National Park deserves the same love and admiration because of its unspoiled natural beauty. Explore the rugged terrain of the park ā including Kalamina Gorge, Kermitās Pool, and Mt Bruce ā with your group and bond over the magical colours of the landscape as you put one foot in front of the other.
Sometimes the best views appear without walking several kilometres through a national park or up a mountain range. Whether youāre in charming Exmouth or at Cape Mentelle, sitting down to watch the sky shift colours as the sun sets with a cold drink in hand is one of lifeās great pleasures. Throw in the newfound friends youāve made along the way, and youāve got a memory for the record books.
TheĀ Margaret RiverĀ region might be known for its wine, but its breathtaking coastal scenery is equally impressive. From enjoying epic clifftop views to spotting dolphins playing around in the surf, walking the Cape-to-Cape track is guaranteed to show you why Australia is regarded as having some of the best landscapes in the world. Ā
Winding between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin, Western Australiaās Cape-to-Cape track is undoubtedly one of Australia's more extraordinary walks. Not only is it the best way to absorb Western Australiaās stunning coastal landscapes, but the sense of accomplishment and achievement youāll feel after walking for over 130km is simply unbeatable.Ā
Snorkel the waters of Ningaloo Reef
Itās time to take your feet off the land and into the water on a snorkelling adventure at Western Australiaās belovedĀ Ningaloo Reef.Ā Swim alongside a diverse array of tropical fish such as clownfish and sea anemones, and rainbow-coloured coral. You might even see a manta ray or two to top off an experience your friends will be jealous of when you come home bearing photos.
Embark on a life-changing (optional) activity off Western Australiaās Coral Coast: swimming with whale sharks. Known as the gentle giants of the sea, swimming alongside the world's largest fish is an experience you'll never forget.

Walk Western Australia's Karijini & Ningaloo Reef

Karijini National Park is incredible. So glad I visited as part of a tour. Itās vast and remote. The two guides on our trip were incredible. Tom and Dan clearly love their work, they are people people. It was Danās first trip but that did not show. They made sure everyoneās needs were considered, Tom is an excellent cook, and he knows so much about the land, he is respectful and inclusive. Both Tom and Dan have all the qualities needed: flexibility, kindness, hard working, capable, fit and excellent communication skills. Our trip was a dream and an absolute pleasure.

Recent trip to Karajini and the whaleshark swim was Excellent. The right mixture of hiking, swimming, and downtime. Loved that we spent 4 nights in one spot as that made the days not so rushed. Loved that the guides packed a thermos for us, for morning tea. Iam, Heather and Lucas were excellent guides, helpful, caring, knowledgeable, inspiring and great cooks. They ran an organised trip and were instrumental in gelling the passengers together into a tight knit group. Spectacular scenery!
