Visa and entry requirements for Japan

Several countries are included on the visa-exemption list, which allows for visa-free entry for tourism purposes of up to 90 days. However, this does not apply to all countries, as some require a visa before entry.

Even if your nationality does not require a visa, you may need to show additional documentation to get into the country.
