To get to your Okavango Delta campsite, you'll travel by mokoro, a dugout canoe, to pass over the shallow waterways. Mokoros are small but stable, and local tribesman will be there to guide you.
Our purpose-built overland vehicles allow for excellent game viewing, equipped with large sliding windows. They have no air-conditioning, however, so they can get dusty and hot at times.
The going can be slow over the long distances and often bumpy roads. A little bit of patience will go a long way towards your enjoyment of this beautiful land!
This is a participatory camping trip, so it's important to embrace the team spirit and help with camp setup, food preparation and cleaning.

Intrepid organised a trip that was diverse and interesting. We got to see so much of the country and have experiences that we would never had if we had done the trip alone! It's not just your fellow travelers who you make friends for life with, its your leader, cook and driver too! What an experience!
