South America 18 to 35s tours

Few destinations inspire passion like South America does – from the fiery Argentine tango to the misty Inca Trail.

Whether you want to spot Giant Tortoises in the Galapagos Islands, head to the cityside beaches of Rio or party in the salsa clubs of Colombia there’s a South American adventure waiting for you.

Why choose us

The ultimate adventures

You can’t travel to Peru without seeing Machu Picchu but sharing a laugh with the island-dwellers of Lake Titicaca can be just as memorable. That’s why we’ve included the big-ticket items, as well as plenty of off-the-grid experiences and free time.

Local leaders, local connections

Travelling with an experienced leader means you can just enjoy the moment, rather than worrying about when the last train leaves. They’ll also share stories and take you to places that only the locals know about.

Small (but not too small) groups

Our groups are made up of 10 travellers on average. That’s big enough to create a good vibe, but small enough to explore a destination independently. And if you’re travelling solo, it’s the perfect number of new friends.

A sustainable way to travel

We believe that travelling sustainably is important. Through our not-for-profit The Intrepid Foundation, we are committed to supporting projects around the world – from reducing carbon in the environment to supporting the livelihoods of local communities.

Stay real in cool places

We think where you lay your head at night can be just as cool as what you see during the day. Whether that be rocking to sleep on an overnight bus in Bolivia or a lodge in the Amazon Jungle.

Make your money go further

Want big-time experiences without the big-time price tag? Our 18 to 35s travel style means staying in simple, well-located accommodation, taking local transport and enjoying tasty local food, so you choose where your spending money goes.

Great trip where you will see a lot of things from the highest desert in the world to the largest salt lake in the world. The first week or so will be at altitude so make sure you are OK with that and enjoy long travel days. Overall a great trip. You will have many opportunities to do many day trips while spending time at various locations. Pack more warm weather clothes than cold, but bring the essentials for cold weather for those first days spent in the desert. Just remember this is a continous trip so you will be joining a group already formed so it can be tough to integrate if you are not the most socially active person. Thanks for everything Karina!
