This was my first time travelling with intrepid. I really enjoyed the small size of the international group, the great organisation and the competent guides we've had on our different walks. This trip is a great opportunity to see a lot of the country, meeting friendly people and getting an idea about the way of life - all in a short time without feeling rushed. I especially enjoyed the turtle night tour in Tortuguero, the Volcano hike in La Fortuna and the dancing in Monteverde :-)

There are several reasons why I continue to use Intrepid for adventure/tour holidays - they use local guides, small groups, support local communities, and represent good value for money. They also offer different styles of holidays so that you can incorporate choices of activities.
