Lonely peaks, Buddhist monasteries and welcoming people, Tibet’s a place unlike any other.
Centuries of isolation have lent the kingdom of Tibet a deep sense of spirituality and mysticism. Once upon a time you could only get there after conquering treacherous terrain and fierce warrior monks, but now – despite the complex political situation – Tibet’s open for travellers to explore. Surround yourself with smoke, incense and the murmuring of the faithful in the country’s endless temples and monasteries and experience giddy Everest views. Cross high-altitude passes, twist through towering peaks past plodding yaks, and discover contemporary Tibetan life – a mix of pilgrims and pop music, monks and mobile phones.

Wonderful trip - our Tibetan leader was knowledgeable, consistent and so caring right from picking us up in Beijing through to Lhasa. I learnt so much about Tibets culture, history and politics on this tour.

Tibet Unplugged, October 2016
It was an amazing experience to be in Tibet, see the stunning land, culture and the background of the tradition as well as the current way of living which was introduced by our guide Kandol with passion, patience and great knowledge. She took amazing care of us as a group and individually.
