Uganda Travel Information

A leader's perspective...

Inpenetrable forests, entertaining mountain gorillas and the happiest kids in the world – this is how I remember Uganda. My intention when visiting the ‘pearl of Africa´ was to see the gorillas, and while this experience alone was mind-blowing, it was the people, particularly the children, who fascinated me most. Whether whitewater rafting the Nile or wandering through villages, I was constantly waving at cheeky children calling out ‘Mzungo, how are youoooo?´ at the top of their lungs from behind trees or buildings. As a Mzungo (white person), their innocent and playful ways are captivating and you can´t help but think that these children, who have nothing and know nothing else, must be the happiest kids in the world.
