Welcome to Alice Springs, the Red Centre's dusty, character-filled heart. Make tracks for Uluru, stopping by a camel farm en route for an optional ride on one of these intriguing creatures. Watch the colour of the rocks change, glass of sparkling in hand, as the Outback works one of its magical sunsets, then return to a home-cooked dinner at camp.
Wake early for the opportunity to witness a truly unforgettable sunrise over Uluru. View the rock from different vantage points and learn about one of the world's oldest living cultures on an interpretive walk led by a local indigenous guide. Browse Aboriginal arts and crafts at the Cultural Centre, then travel on to our exclusive campsite located within the Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon) for another night camped under sparkling night skies.
Wander along the walking tracks of Kings Canyon, where chasms, gorges and surprisingly lush gardens dot the landscape. After lunch, trek out along the Mereenie Loop before heading back to Alice on the Giles Track. Enjoy another night camping beneath a blanket of stars.
The Red Centre’s best kept secret, the Western MacDonnell Ranges will leave you awed at unsuspecting beauty that this part of the country holds.
