The Intrepid Foundation is the not-for-profit for Intrepid Group. We work with local organisations around the world to improve the livelihoods of vulnerable individuals and communities through sustainable travel experiences. With our travellers’ help, our Foundation has contributed more than AU $10 million to over 130 community organisations since 2002.
Our aim
The Intrepid Foundation aims to support income generation by creating jobs and providing skills training in tourism in the communities we’re involved with. We support established local projects, where we can measure our impact and share the stories of change, so our donors know exactly where their money is going. After all, we’re accountable for the trust placed in us by our partners, travellers, donors and beneficiaries.
Why donate to The Intrepid Foundation?
- Help us change thousands of lives by creating meaningful work and supporting skills training in communities around the world.
- We cover all the administration costs, so your donation goes directly to the project.
- Even the smallest contribution makes a huge difference – this is your chance to give back to the places you’ve travelled and help improve the lives of others.
- We support local projects directly.
