A great trip for a first visit to Japan. Lives up to its name of Japan Highlights. Fast paced with a good mix of cities and rural areas.

We had the most amazing luck on our tour - cherry blossoms, saw Mt Fuji - twice even! - and saw a geisha and maiko in Kyoto. Our tour guide Yuka was phenomenal and made everything fun and enjoyable. She also had brilliant recommendations for eateries, and patiently answered any and all of our questions, no matter how random they were.

Great mix of activities and experiences, but due to the distances traveled there is alot of time on public transport

This was a fabulous trip. It was a very nice way to see all the sites in Japan and to experience them up close and personal. It was fun to be outdoors biking, hiking and kayaking as means of transportation. The trip is physical but well worth it! Our guide Leo, was an amazing tour guide.
