I would have to say that the best part of this trip was definately our tour leader Iskender Us. He made sure every step of the way that our needs were catered for and even forethought needs before we got there. He was quite knowledgeable all the areas that we visited and even opened my eyes to my own country - as I was born there. You could tell that Iskender was well loved by all locals at every town that we went too. Through this the locals got to love us and include us as well! Would definately recommend this trip along with our tour leader ISKENDER US to see Turkey and everything that it has to offer. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE - Turkey and all the preparations that Intrepid did to make our trip the most enjoyable of a lifetime. Thank you Tulin

Best of Turkey, July 2017

The best of Turkey was just amazing from day 1 in Istanbul to the last 3 days in Cappadocia. The balloon ride will be probably one of the best things you will ever do! Pumakale & Esephus were spectacular, especially if you are into the History of past civilizations..Staying on the boat in KOKOVA was like living in a dream. There were some long bus rides; however you get to see so many spectacular sights & the quick flight back to Istanbul takes away a lot of the grind. Our tour leader Iskender was a true champion .. the best trip ever .. thank you so much ..Intrepid. "TURKEY .. JUST DO IT"

What an awesome experience! You do a lot of travelling & walking on this trip so take good walking shoes and be prepared to have fun! It is an awesome way to see and learn about the beautiful country of Turkey. We had the most amazing holiday and would absolutely recommend this trip. Turkey is an incredible country.

Please go to Turkey. Despite what you might hear and read the country is so beautiful, so diverse, so many things to see. The food, especially the fruit and vege, was sensational. We were greeted warmly wherever we went. This is my 2nd trip to Turkey and I would go back in a heartbeat. Such good value for money. Go buy lots of things and eat up- good for you, good for them.

Turkey turned out to be more beautiful, friendly, and culturally and historically richer than I had imagined. It is also very well maintained: Excellent roads, service stops, clean cities, etc. There are many enjoyable types of food, including meat dishes, desserts, ice creams, and fresh fruit juices. The scenery is diverse and beautiful: From the rugged, dry, and strange formations in Central Anatolia, to the eye-pleasing Mediterranean coastline and beautiful valleys, to the slightly cooler Aegean. There was no moment in the 15 days where I felt unsafe: The trip takes us through the Marmara, Central Anatolia, Mediterranean, and Aegean regions, but does not travel through the Black Sea, Eastern, and Southeastern Anatolia regions. If you've been on the sidelines wondering whether or not to visit Turkey, just go. You will come back delighted!

I will only travel with Intrepid in future. It suits my age group (46) & fitness level & the destinations cater for the "must see" tourist locations & some hidden gems which I would never find in my own.
