Each of our Christmas family trips has been built with a perfect balance of action-packed activities and flexible family time. Want to know the sorts of adventures you can expect with us? Here’s a handful of our festive favourites.

Explore the largest man-made ice cave in the world
Are your family ready for an icy experience? Then it’s time to make the journey through an other-worldly tunnel, stretching some 800 metres into the Langjokull Glacier. You’ll visit colourfully lit ice caves, and there’s even an ice chapel!
Brave the cold with Intrepid’s Winter Iceland Family Holiday with Teenagers.

Soak up Mayan history at Chichen Itza
It’s impossible not to be impressed by the most famous Maya temple site in all of Mexico; even your tricky teens will be enchanted. Marvel at Kukulkan, standing high over the ruins, and then explore a nearby Maya ‘ball court’ with its detailed stone carvings.
Step back in time with Intrepid’s Mexico Family Holiday.

Lead the pack in Zuberac
If your kids are husky-mad, they’ll love dog sledding through the snow. Enjoy greeting your husky team, who have travelled from the Lower Tatra to meet you, learn how to handle the sled and sip on hot drinks by the fire to warm up after an amazing day.
Go walking in a winter wonderland with Intrepid’s Winter Slovakian Family Holiday.

Amble down the cobbled streets of Havana
Prepare for your family to be charmed by the capital of Cuba. From its spacious plazas and glorious colonial Spanish architecture, to its iconic American automobiles and Che Guevara-branded buildings. It’s a city packed with culture, colour and cuisine.
Be captivated by Cuba with Intrepid’s Cuba Family Holiday.

Great family trip suitable even for grandparents! Children and adults all got on well together like a family - Hany played with children at cards, pool and swimming and gave us plenty of information on all subjects and gave us great care too. Please consider Eygpt for your holiday.

Egypt Family Holiday , March 2018
Helen Adams
The group size was just right and there was a good mix of ages for the children - about half were teenagers. Our guide, Ahmed, was simply amazing throughout the whole trip. We did lots of things that it would have been very difficult to do on our own. There was a great balance of activities from temples to donkey rides; the day and night on the felucca was a real highlight. A perfect balance of culture and fun!
