Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating, you agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions.

The promoter is Intrepid Travel Pty Ltd (007 172 456) of Level 7, 567 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia.

Competition period

The Competition commences at 9am AEDT on 24th January 2025 and ends at 5pm AEDT on 31st January 2025 or when the survey quota is met (Competition Period).

No entry details submitted after this time will be valid.

Entry Eligibility

The competition entry is open worldwide to entrants aged 18 years or older and excludes employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary company and their immediate families, anyone connected professionally with the prize draw, or any person where entering this competition breaches any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they are resident. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Only one entry per person will be available (Eligible Entrant).

Entry Instructions

To enter, individuals must complete the following entry mechanics during the Competition Period:

• Enter your email address when prompted at the end of the survey to be in the draw to win one of four Intrepid trips and complete the survey.

Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. Entries automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties in bulk, or that have been altered, reconstructed, or tampered with will be rejected.

Prize

The prize winner will receive:

• One of four Intrepid travel vouchers valued at AUD2500 or equivalent in your local currency. (the Prize).

Not included in the Prize is travel to the starting point/from the finishing point of the trips, travel insurance, any additional meals or accommodation not included in the itinerary.

All travel is subject to the Intrepid Booking Conditions.

The winner will be required to agree to the current Booking Conditions at the time of booking including any applicable policies or waivers that are in place at the time.

The Prizes are strictly non-transferable to another person or redeemable for cash. Short breaks, Polar, or third party operated trips are not eligible for the prize.

The Prize must be fully booked/redeemed by 31st August 2025 and travel must have commenced by 31st October 2025.

The Prize is subject to availability at time of booking. A minimum of 4 travellers must be confirmed on the Intrepid trip for the for the prize winner booking to be confirmed on their requested date. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.

The winner is responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any required visas, vaccinations, and travel documentation. This policy may be subject to change prior to your trip.

There will be 4 winners determined randomly in respect of this promotion.

Prize draw date

The draw will take place at 9am AEDT on 10th February 2025 at Intrepid Travel – Level 7, 567 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (Prize Draw Date).

The winners will be notified in writing by the email provided in the survey.

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to identify and locate the Prize Winners.

If any Prizes remain unclaimed within three months after the Prize Draw Date, an unclaimed Prize draw will be held.

Collection and use of your personal information

Personal Information including the Eligible Entrant’s first and last name and contact information will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Competition. This may require disclosure to third parties, including the Promoter’s agents or third-party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Competition.

Jurisdiction

The promotion shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

General

The Promoter and its affiliates reserve the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw and any of the prizes in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
