A final slice of local advice
- Make use of the local public transportation! It’s easy once you get the hang of it.
- Always bring a jacket with you – it’s always colder by the lake.
- If you’re visiting the Museum of Science and Industry or the Garfield Conservatory, take a cab or rideshare.
- Take the train to the airport to beat rush hour traffic – don’t call an Uber at 3 pm!
- Branch out beyond the downtown area – there are so many more neighbourhoods for you to explore.
