Kim has lived in Japan for nearly a decade. She writes about many things, from fancy ryokan to Japanese music, which all seem to be connected via the theme of 'lesser-known Japan,' often surprising her Japanese friends with things that they didn't know before. She pens words and sometimes takes photos for outlets including Lonely Planet, Huck Magazine and Japan Times. Her translation clients include Honda and Live Japan.
