The most amazing thing about Kruger is how easy it is to see animals like elephants, lions, zebra, giraffe, rhino and wildebeast enjoying their natural habitat.
Rise early and have a light breakfast of coffee and rusks before embarking on a morning game drive in the truck.
Tonight you will head out on an open vehicle night drive, an amazing experience and a chance to witness the nocturnal activities of the many animals within the park.
After an early morning game drive, head north to the Limpopo region and the town of Mokopane. Set up camp on a working cattle farm and enjoy the hospitality of local villagers, getting to experience the area’s traditional way of life and delicious cuisine.
An early start this morning and spend most of the day on the road from Mokopane to Palapye.
Travel on from the lush green of Moremi Gorge to Nata. Spend an afternoon exploring the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans before spending an evening relaxing, perhaps by the pool.
Make tracks to Zimbabwe and the incredible ‘Smoke that Thunders’ – Victoria Falls. See torrents of water roaring into a deep chasm and just try to avoid the spray that forms rainbows in the air. Explore the falls from all angles and perhaps take advantage of the incredible array of adventure activities on offer in this alluring part of Africa.
Get soaked by the powerful sheet of spray rising from the thunderous Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Choose to partake in some wild adventure activities or simply take in the falls from all angles.
Travel to Botswana and embark on an afternoon cruise along the Chobe River. Try to spot wallowing hippos and basking crocodiles before watching the sun melt into the horizon over the grassy plains. There's plenty of time in the Chobe National Park to spot the magnificent elephants this reserve is famous for.
After an optional early morning game drive, make the journey to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta.
Guided by local polers, explore the delta’s snaking waterways in a traditional mokoro canoe, the perfect way to witness the abundant wildlife that lives here. Spend the night camping on a remote island surrounding by the sounds of nocturnal life.
Wake up early venture out on a sunrise walk hoping to catch a glimpse of some elephants and Cape buffalo. Returning to camp for breakfast, take the rest of the day to relax, take a swim or test your poling skills before heading out for an afternoon walk or perhaps another mokoro trip.
Take the mokoro back to the poling station before transferring back to Maun.
A sanctuary founded to protect Botswana’s endangered black and white rhino population, the Khama Rhino Sanctuary is not only a great way to see a huge number of animals up close on a game drive, it is an inspiring place that also helps the local community.
Return to South Africa spend time in the museums, restaurants and parks of this vibrant city.
