Day 1 Nairobi

Once a swamp but now called the 'green city in the sun', Nairobi is a relatively multicultural city with a range of cuisines, museums and cultural centres to enjoy.

Day 2 Aberdare National Park

Not only are there a wide array of animals living in Aberdare National Park, but there's quirky treetop accommodation, especially the lodge in the shape of Noah's Ark.

Days 3-4 Samburu National Reserve

The Ewaso Ngiro River winds through the sunburnt plains of the Samburu National Reserve, a wonderful place to see an abundance of wild animals and birdlife.

Days 5-7 Mt Kenya/Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Located on the equator and near the base of Mt Kenya, Ol Pejeta Conservancy houses the 'big five', plus many other animals, and has a chimpanzee sanctuary.

Day 8 Nairobi

Lively Nairobi is the gateway to some of Africa's best national parks and is nicknamed 'the safari capital of the world'.
