Discover the cosmopolitan streets of Santiago, Chile's vibrant capital.

Day 2 Salto del Laja
Travel down the spine of the Andes, through the heart of Chilean wine country.
ACCOM: Camping (with facilities) - 1
Days 3-4 Pucon
Opt to climb the nearby volcano of Villarrica or relax in the thermal springs around Pucon.
Days 5-6 Bariloche
Perhaps explore the scenery around the resort town of Bariloche on horseback or mountain bike, or just stay in town and sample some of the region's delicious chocolate.

Days 7-10 Carretera Austral
Visit Patagonia and camp in the wilds, amid the intense beauty and isolation of one of the world's final frontiers.
ACCOM: Bush camp (no facilities) - 3
Days 11-13 Los Glaciares National Park/El Chalten
Arrive in Los Glaciares National Park. Trek over glaciers, admire stunning views of mountain ranges or take a boat trip on Viedma Lake.
Days 14-15 Perito Moreno Glacier/El Calafate
Listen to the moan of the advancing glacial ice and watch as huge chunks break off Perito Moreno Glacier and collapse into the channel below.

Days 16-20 Torres del Paine National Park
Spend four days exploring the rugged Torres del Paine National Park, punctuated by granite cliffs and home to guanacos and flightless rhea birds.
Day 21 Strait of Magellan
Travel to the end of the world and enter the wilds of Tierra del Fuego.

Days 22-23 Ushuaia
End this epic South American adventure at the world's southernmost town, Ushuaia, set between the Beagle Channel and looming glacial peaks.

I am not a person who enjoys travelling in groups on organised tours however this promised to be an unorganised, organised trip and it lived up to all it's expectations. Absolute trip of a lifetime until today. Well done
