Find everything you need to create the perfect nativity scene at the crafty Kripperlmarkt, soak up the atmosphere at the vibrant Tollwood Christmas Market and sing along to the festive tunes of the city’s alpine Christmas Market concert.
Cross the border into Austria to discover Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. Visit the 15th century city hall he was born in – now a museum that displays several of his well-worn instruments. Wander around the atmospheric market in front of the city’s impressive cathedral amid aromas of spicy Glühwein, roasted chestnuts, toasted almonds and cinnamon-brushed baked apples.
Travel to Vienna and soak up the splendour of Austria’s picturesque capital. Take a walking tour of the city, passing by the enchanting Hofburg Palace and the impressive, gothic St Stephen’s Cathedral.
