Arrive in the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ - as described by Lord Bryon - and take the opportunity to explore this magical destination, particularly the stone walls that frame the city. Then, board the vessel and learn the sailing ropes while easing into your vacation. Cast away over the turquoise waters of the Adriatic to Mljet via the Elafiti islands. Venture through the national park with a guide to discover inky blue lakes, deep gorges and Roman ruins. Put out to sea once again, this time headed via the Peljeski Channel to Korcula, the rumoured hometown of one of history’s most intrepid travellers, Marco Polo. Experience a touch of nostalgia in the Old Town or make the most of Korcula’s lovely beaches. Experience the much-lauded beauty of Hvar, an island paradise that boasts well-preserved Renaissance buildings, rolling fields of lavender, a bubbly bar and restaurant culture and some of the finest beaches in Croatia. Travel on to Brac, a dramatic rock-strewn landscape and home to countless olive, fig and almond groves, and a number of wineries. Roll off the boat and snorkel across the jewel-like water spotting brightly coloured sea creatures, lie back on the famous Zlatni Rat Beach or enjoy a meal in the Old Town of Bol. Sail away to Split with its picturesque harbour, renowned Diocletian Palace ruins and old-world charm.
Head to the hidden paradise of Elafiti Islands. This island group is made up of 3 main islands, all relatively untouched by tourists. Sail to the ancient island of Mljet, believed to be where Odysseus lived for a period of time. Hike under towering pine trees on a guided tour of the national park, admire timeworn ruins and be sure to sample some of the island’s renowned wine and olive oil. Pull out to sea once again for a full day on the open water. Arrive on the heavily wooded island of Korcula and discover the many influences that make it so distinct, from the Greeks in the 6th-century to the Romans, Venetians and even the French under Napoleon Bonaparte in the late 1700s. Soak up the sun’s rays in the afternoon and perhaps stroll around the Old Town in the evening. Set sail to Vis, the fartherest island from the mainland. Vis has retained it’s charm and laid back lifestyle. Take an optional island tour to learn all about the history of the island. Head along the Neretvanski Channel away from mainland Central Dalmatia to H'var. In free time, delight in some of the most idyllic beaches in Croatia or sip cocktails by the waterfront. Sail from Brac to Split and find a bold rocky terrain, dotted with wineries and groves. Drop into the crystal-clear water and spot fish while snorkelling, spend some blissful hours on the beach or enjoy an outdoor dining experience in the Old Town. Travel back to Split for the final night on board this sailing adventure.
Finish the trip in the breathtaking city of Split.
