Tipping Info

If you are happy with the services provided by your local guides and drivers a tip - though not compulsory - is appropriate. While it may not be customary to you, it is of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many Intrepid Urban Adventures destinations. Please consider this when budgeting for your extra expenses on this tour

Itinerary

The adventure begins at your hotel, from there we head to the Miraflores Locks in the Panama Canal and view ships on their journey through the canal connecting the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean. Here you will be able to learn more of about the Panama Canal and tour the museum learning about the history of the canal.
We continue onwards, well upwards, to Cerro Ancon. Amazing panoramic views of Panama City and the Canal as well as copious amounts of wildlife are the norm. The top of Cerro Ancon is also home to a Panamanian flag about the size of a basketball court!
The next stop is a local Artisan Market to see handmade local crafts and pick up a bargain to take home.
The adventure continues and we head to Amador Causeway to take in “The Bridge of the Americas” and grab a bite to eat before a short nature walk on the Smithsonian owned Punta Culebra.
The rest of the day will be spent wandering through the old historic district of Casco Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on our locally guided walking tour.
