Starting in Sandy Bay, your guides will tell you little-known facts about Tasmania's historic capital city while you weave among stately tall ships, fishing boats, sleek yachts and immense cruise ships.  The tour includes a stop at one of Hobart's legendary floating punts to enjoy piping hot fish and chips without leaving your kayak!  <em>Please note:  our daily Hobart Paddle tour is currently closed during the cooler months of May to September.     The tour meets at Short Beach, on Marieville Esplanade, Sandy Bay (Hobart), Tasmania, opposite the address of 16 Marieville Esplanade.
    Note:  the start time of the Twilight tours varies throughout the seasons due to the changing times of sunset as below:
    October: 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM;November: 4:00 PM or 4:30 PMDecember - Jan: 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM;February: 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM;March: 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM;April: 2:00 PM or 2:30 PM;May - September:  Closed

Child policy

Kayaking is suitable for the whole family.  Children of all ages (12 months +) are welcome on the tour, however they must be accompanied by at least one adult.<br />Children under 5yrs may travel free when accompanied by 2x adults.  For children 5+ yrs, the standard tour fare applies.

Tipping in Tasmania is not comulsory and not expected.  However, if you are happy with the service provided by your guide/s then a tip is a way of rewarding their skills and excellent service.

On this relaxed, two-hour tour you’ll experience a journey of fun, serenity and some of the best fish and chips you’ve ever tasted.
The tour meets at the beach in Sandy Bay, where your guides will equip you with all the necessary clothing and equipment and provide an introduction to the kayaking skills that you will easily master.
Gliding across the waters of the Derwent Estuary, you’ll follow Hobart’s shoreline to explore historic Battery Point, vibrant Salamanca and the bustling docks of the city’s waterfront. 
Learn about Tasmania’s historic capital from your experienced guides as you weave among stately tall ships, working fishing boats, sleek yachts and modern cruisers. 
Work up an appetite in time to enjoy some of Hobart’s legendary fish and chips straight from a dockside fish punt – you won’t even have to leave your kayak.
