challenge extensions
Staying on after your challenge has finished is an ideal opportunity to explore more of your chosen destination or take a well earned rest after the rigors of the challenge. If you would like to stay longer then please read the following guidelines carefully.

The fare provided for you has been booked as a special group fare in order that we can provide the lowest possible trip cost for your chosen charity. All challenges are sold as land and air packages in order to qualify for the group fares. These group tickets have terms and conditions which your extension must adhere to and are often not as flexible as full priced tickets. Please read through the conditions listed below to get a better understanding of these restrictions.
- You can only stay on after your trip.
- We can only offer the options detailed on the Extension form.
- Put it in writing.
- Deadline is 3 months prior to your challenge - No last minute requests!
how do I go about booking an extension?
Please download the extension form (double click the PDF document below that is relevant to your challenge.) Select the option which appeals to you and fill in the requested details.
Then post your extension form together with cheque or money order payment to Intrepid Travel at the address provided. (Credit cards attract a 2% surcharge).
Once the extension has been arranged, we will send you a confirmation e-mail.
Please note that the Intrepid booking conditions that are signed as part of your challenge also apply to all extensions and the same cancellation charges apply.
important note
Once you have requested an extension your seat will be released from the main group booking and cannot be changed back again. Please be sure of your intended dates when booking. Once we have issued a ticket we will not process any further changes.
