The soundtrack for my life has got to be "Lust for Life". I live for new and exciting adventures, discovering the miracles of nature and sharing laughs with people from all walks of life. When it comes to travel, I can't get enough of it! From bustling cities to serene mountain tops, the world is an extraordinary place.
My travels have been fascinating, challenging and often pretty hilarious. From hunting down the best taco stand in Mexico, sailing the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia and walking a centuries old pilgrimage across Spain. Not to mention crossiant classes in the south of France, organic goat farming in Canada and tracking elephants in Africa.
For me, travel is the best way to learn, grow, laugh and meet alot of great people. If that sounds like the kind of travel experience you are looking for, come in and meet our team and we'll help make it happen.

What else is there to do in life, but experience new things, interact with people from all walks of life and discover the natural beauty of the world around you, to inspire you to become who you want to be? Travel represents all this and more to me, and I can think of nothing more valuable, than the knowledge learnt, the experiences gained from traveling and nothing as truly rewarding as getting out of your comfort zone – and feeling alive!
My travels have seen me throwing tomatoes with Spaniards, walking with clouds in Switzerland, sampling local foods and drink from the amazing coastlines of Croatia, Istanbul and Greece, to the Arctic Circle at the top of Finland, the stunning fjords of Norway and everything in between. Not to mention the endless laughs along the way!
Already, my eyes are gazing at future endeavours to Peru, Canada, Alaska, Nepal and Iceland. In time I'll get there, but for now, I can live vicariously through helping you book your next unforgettable adventure!

My family were always a fan of the extended caravan and camping break up and down the Aussie coast. But it wasn't until World Expo '88, when issued with a mock passport and the world (represented) at my ten year old feet that I decided I wanted a real passport and, hey, even just to get on a plane would have been kinda fun!
20 years later I've experienced all but one continent, completely refining my ability to make even the longest haul flight pass by with minimal discomfort, and have discovered I feel more at home with a pack on my back and a bus, train, boat or ferry ticket in hand, than I often do in Sydney!
Thailand first introduced me the travelling community, that same year deciding to make London my base for numerous trips throughout Europe over the following two years.
Becoming hooked on small group adventure travel after my first Intrepid trip to China, and fast approaching the end of my UK Visa (yet determined to see more of the world) I spent a year in Egypt and Jordan tour leading. After returning home for a mere 3 weeks, I decided it was best to challenge myself to the Inca Trail in Peru before getting too involved in a ‘normal' life. Then came more South America, more SE Asia, Africa & India.
Then I realised, that for me, this is normal life for me. And what better place to find like-minded beings than at Intrepid!

10 years ago I was sitting at the top of Borobudur temple in Java, the mist from an afternoon tropical downpour settling along the hills around the amazing Buddhist temple, completely blissed out. Since then I have been a firm believer that travelling to a place is the ONLY way to really know it - books, dvds and movies just aren't enough for me.
I love feeling foreign air on my skin, hearing strange new words, walking down an alleyway wondering where it will lead, exploring majestic sites and imagining people living in ancient worlds.
Since Indonesia ten years ago I have been lucky enough to explore South America, Nepal and Tibet and Bhutan, Egypt and Lebanon, Fiji, crazy Iceland, much of Australia and lived in Scotland for two years - a great place to explore Europe from.
Show me a mountain and I instantly want to walk up it/through it/in it! From climbing Mount Merapi in Java to trekking the Inca Trail in Peru, wandering through my favourite Himalayas, clambering up glaciers in Iceland, and 'bagging' my first munroe in the Scottish highlands, I love nothing more than wandering through the hills and villages of exotic far off places.
I am looking forward to spending more time in my home 'village' of Sydney, exploring the alleyways of Paddington and getting excited with you as we help plan your next journey to a wonderful far away place
