I'd always dream of visiting far away places that were full of history, different cultures and people, my dreams started in 2000 to become reality when I left my home in England for Australia on a years working holiday and I have not stopped exploring and travelling the world since.

My passion for travel was further ignited on my route home backpacking through Sumatra. I fell in love with the Indonesian people, the simplicity of life, culture, amazing food, wonders of the underwater world and our fury endangered friends the Orangutans.

My next big trip took me back to Asia: Nepal for an unforgettable and challenging expedition to Everest Base Camp and then my first Intrepid tour, North and South Thailand. In my years of travelling and experience as a Travel Specialist I have been fortunate to experience over 40 countries and had the most amazing experiences: like watching the sunrise over Machu Pichu, sunset behind the Taj Mahal, soaking up the magical atmosphere of a flower candle ceremony on the River Ganges, Hot air ballooning night glow in Rome, watching Cheetah cubs play on the Masai Mara plains, riding a camel around the great Pyramids of Giza, walking on the Great Wall of China, living like a local in a traditional Iban longhouse with the head-hunters of Borneo, diving with Manta rays, and leisurely floating on the canals of Venice in an authentic gondola.

My current journey started in April 2009, through Kenya, Uganda, tracking the rare Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda then Tanzania for the stunning sunrise I witnessed at the summit of Africa's highest peak, Kilimanjaro, and now being part of Intrepid Travel allows me to share my passion, experiences and help you make your dreams come true. I don't want to ever stop travelling, it's opened my mind and has enriched my life.

I still have lots of places to discover, why don't you pop in for a visit, we can compare stories, have a chat and all be inspired for our next adventures.

Growing up in England the many splendours of Europe were tantalising close and the first place I caught the travel bug. From family camping holidays in France to long lazy summers exploring Spain's cities, culture and coast, I adore all that Europe has to offer from the fantastic food to the rich history, architecture and art. As I explored one European country after another (even learning to ski in Austria) I began to look further afield and that's when I feel in love with America. Working there for 2 summers I was able to explore and see the many wonders of this fantastic country from NY to LA, New Orleans to Chicago, San Fran to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon to Monument Valley, Yosemite to the Mississippi - whether it's an off-the-beaten track experience you want or the opportunity to embark in a road trip of a lifetime I will be happy to assist in making your American dreams come true.

From America I was attracted by the bright lights and sunny beaches of Australia. Having spent a year travelling across the vast continent and working for Intrepid in Melbourne, I ventured across the Tasman to sample the delights of New Zealand and here I plan to stay creating perfect Adventure holidays for you.

Travel is my passion and when I am not selling the world I am off exploring it for myself, tasting the local cuisine, learning the history, seeing the culture and meeting the people.

I left the UK in September 2007 to fulfil my dream of backpacking and so far I am living and loving every second but my adventure is far from over with my continuing 'must see' list as well the new and exciting places allowing travellers to explore like the Antarctic!!

Here are my best experiences so far...

Tracking the allusive Tigers in India, giving alms to the monks in Laos, spending a night with the tribes people of Sapa in Vietnam, watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat in Cambodia, haggling with a street vendor in the souqs of Tunisia, elephant trekking through forests in Chiang Mai, meeting the Massai in Kenya, riding the ice-mobile on the Athabasca glacier in the Canadian Rockies, dancing with lady luck with a roll of the dice in Las Vegas, crossing the chain bridge linking Buda to Pest and eating pasta the way mamma makes it in Rome.

If you want a real life experience with Intrepid Travel come see me and I will give you a fun and affordable getaway that you will never forget.
